 Please Note: Neptune's Haven does not support or advocate the puppy farm industry in any way. The very few puppies that we do occationally sell are from very small select private breeders. We are totally against the cruelty of animals, and will never support puppy farms/mills that produce hundreds of puppys for profit with no consideration for the life and health conditions of the adult breeders. Many of these puppys' are bred with little consideration regarding the health and temperaments of the puppies that are being produced. Thankfully most single independently owned and operated pet shops share our opinions, and won't support these puppy farms. However large chain pet stores predominantly source their puppies from these farms/mills, most chain stores are managed in a way that profit is the bottom line, and no regard is paid to the poor dogs and cats that are producing their puppies for sale.

Please consider this when you are selecting your next pet. It is ALWAYS best to research the breed and meet the parents of your next puppy or kitten. Even better, find it in your heart to give a rescue dog or cat a second chance. Check your nearest animal shelter or pound for a friend befor deciding on a puppy or kitten. Puppies and kittens generally require alot more training care than an adult dog or cat, so you may be thanking yourself in the long run.
