KITTEN ADOPTION

At Neptune's Haven we run a Kitten Adoption Program and have sucessfully rehomed hundreds of kittens that would otherwise have had a bleak future.

Our Kittens have been microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked twice, wormed and are sold with a written health gaurantee.  We sell our Domestic kittens for between $80 and $120 each, which is great value considering standard microchip and vaccination costs are around $125 per kitten.

Standard Kitten Pricing

Most of our kittens are sold for $95 this includes all standard long and shorthaired domestics in colours such as Tabby, Ginger, Tortie, black or black and white.

Occasionally our kittens don't sell quickly and we will generally reduce there price untill they are sold. We have sold them for as little as $50 each, which is at a considerable loss for our business, however we have a NO EUTHANASIA POLICY and eventually all of our kittens find a good home.

Occasinally we will get some rarer coloured kittens, usually as a result of a pure bred being crossed with a domestic, we usually ask up to $120 each for these kittens.

During Kitten season (November to April) We usually have a good range of colours and coat types to choose from so you are welcome to pop in and see what is available. Or if you are after a certain colour we can take your details on our waiting list and call you when a suitable kitten becomes available. Thankfully during the colder months of the year most female cats take a break from breeding so from May untill about October kittens are generally few and far between. This does however mean that during the warmer months their are an enormous amount of kittens, and unfortunatelly we can not take them all so a very large number end up being dumped at the pound or RSPCA shelters and sadly don't find a good home. So if you are reading this and own a female cat PLEASE be responsible and have her desexed so that you don't add to the problem. As no matter how hard you try to keep her locked inside during her season she will eventually find her way out and you will end up with kittens.

Purebred Kittens

Occasionally we get in some purebred kittens, we have in the past sold some lovely Ragdoll and Persian kittens from local breeders whom we have frequent contact with. Enquiries Regarding future litters are welcomed.
